Blogging

Blogging. A lot of people have no idea what that word means, let alone how to do it. To me, blogging is a way to get your opinion out into the open. It is the freedom to write (well actually type) what you want, when you want. That may be the most challenging part about writing a blog. There is so much to say, that you just might not know where to start. That is defiantly one of the more challenging parts for me. Another difficult thing for me, when it comes to blogging, is organization. For as long as I have been in school, you are always suppose to write your writing assignments in MLA format, but that is not the case when it comes to blogging. To me, blogging is more of a free write, with little structure. Although that may be one of the more challenging things for me, it is something that I love about it! As I said before, blogging is a way to get your opinion out. Once you get going on something you care about and start typing away, there is no stopping for me! The mind is always overflowing with ideas and thoughts, and once that door is open you can just let it all spill out into your writing and nothing is more energizing then than.

  1. Hi I am Barbara your classmate from ARCC. All I can say about your post is, "You go girl", let those thoughts come out.

  2. I really love blogging, especially with what you said about how you have so much freedom with what you write on here, because even though this is a class and everything, it's so much easier because of the lack of real structure. :)

REgarding blogging I think that once you get used to blogging you will find a system that works for you and organization will come easier.

  4. You're right -- blogging is a freeer kind of writing, but at the same time, we musnt's completely abandon form, either, because form -- paragraphs, sentences, a sense of structure -- help readers understand what you are saying and, at the same time, makes it more likely that they will follow your thoughts to the end. So -- no to MLA. Yes -- to freedom. But also -- yes, to appropriate levels of form and structure!
